Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AquaSSH (“the software”), published by the Epicentech sole proprietorship, registered in the Republic of Maldives (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using the software you agree to them.

1. Who you are buying from

Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record and the reseller for all orders placed on this website. When you buy AquaSSH Pro here, your contract of sale is with Paddle, which takes the payment, determines and remits any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and issues your invoice. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction itself; these terms govern your use of the software.

Purchases made through Google Play are governed by Google’s terms; Google is the seller for those transactions.

2. Licence grant

On payment we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AquaSSH Pro. The licence is issued to one person, identified by the email address used at checkout, and may be installed on any number of devices that person personally uses.

The licence does not expire and requires no renewal. It does not permit:

• sharing, reselling, publishing or otherwise distributing your licence key;
• use by more than one person, or deployment across an organisation under a single key;
• reverse engineering the licensing mechanism or circumventing the Pro feature gate.

A licence key that is published or shared may be added to the revocation list. We do this in response to evidence of key sharing or fraud, not routinely.

3. What Pro unlocks

The free edition is a complete SSH terminal. Pro additionally unlocks the SFTP file browser, port forwarding, snippets and output search, encrypted backup and restore, unlimited saved hosts and identities, and the full theme gallery. Features may be added over time; nothing you have already unlocked will be moved behind a further payment.

4. Your licence key

Your key is delivered by email at purchase and is verified entirely on your own device against a cryptographic signature. There is no activation server and no phone-home check. We keep a record of issued licences so we can re-send yours; see the privacy policy and the resend page.

5. Refunds

We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund. Full details are on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.

6. Updates and availability

Updates are provided at our discretion and are included in your licence. We do not guarantee any particular release schedule, and we may discontinue distribution of the software. Discontinuation does not revoke a licence you have already bought — the software you have installed keeps working.

7. No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for the servers you connect to and the commands you run.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including data loss or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility.

Nothing in these terms limits any statutory consumer rights you have in your country of residence that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date below changes when we do, and material changes are noted in release notes. Changes do not retroactively affect a licence you have already bought.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
